The brake light came on (parking brake) without turning on the parking brake. * PERFORM ABS DIAGNOSIS AND ABS PINPOINT TESTER PROGRAM GSM ABS AND PCM.road tested no fights came on brought in hooked up a scan tool and found u codes UO155 U0100 in abs/PCM/gsm- for reprogramming modules performed reprogram and updates on all 3 models cleared all codes and retested no lights and no codes in the system. |
park assist would not dismiss yesterday and the brakes not working smoothly. Shut off the car and restarted light went out. * brake booster vacuum sensor circuit low voltage stored. Found vacuum level in booster ok at 14 in. vacua. 5 volts present to the sensor on circuit 6031. Signal circuits to sensor 6030 and 580 test ok end to end at less than .3 ohms. Booster vacuum sens6r shorted internally. Replaced brake booster vacuum hose assembly. Road-tested vehicle. Mo codes, braking normally. 2441640 .3 diag .3 |

SPEEDS THE VEHICLE HAD A LIGHT TIRE PULL TO THE LEFT. FTS CONNECTED HDS
AND PERFORMED DTC CHECK AND IDSS HAD DTC STORED P2583-97 DUST OR DIRT ON
MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR. FTS INSPECTED HONDA EMBLEM AND RADAR, NO ABNORMAL
DEBRIS FOUND AT THIS TIME. FTS THEN CLEARED DTC AND INSPECTED STEERING
ANGLE SENSOR. DURING INSPECTION FOUND SENSOR TO BE OFF (SEE IMAGE). FTS
PERFORMED AN ALL SENSOR RELEARN THROUGH VSA/ABS, IN WHICH IT CORRECTED
THE DATA. FTS ALSO PERFORMED A EPS TORQUE SENSOR RELEARN. CUSTOMER
STATED THAT RADAR OBSTRUCTED MESSAGE APPEARED A COUPLE OF TIMES AND THE
EMBLEM WAS NOT DIRTY OR COVERED. FTS FOUND DTC FOR ISSUE AND IS THE
BASIS FOR REAIMING RADAR. FTS ADVISED CUSTOMER THAT SOMETIMES THIS
MESSAGE WILL COME ON DURING THE WINTER MONTHS IF ROAD SALT OR BRINE IS USED TO MELT SNOW. (SEE ATTACHED PHOTO OF EMBLEM) FTS THEN BEGAN REAIMING THE RADAR AND MULTI PURPOSE CAMERA TO ENSURE PROPER CALIBRATION WAS PERFORMED. DURING PROCEDURE FTS FOUND NON OEM TIRES ON VEHICLE CAUSING A SLIGHT LIFT OF 25MM FROM FACTORY STANDARD HEIGHT (JUST FOR NOTATION). FTS FOUND DURING RADAR AIMING THE PREVIOUS TECH HAD ADJUSTED THE VERTICAL ADJUSTMENT TOWARDS THE DOWNWARD ANGLE, JUST SLIGHTLY OFF LEVEL. FTS ADJUSTED VERTICAL AND RELEARNED RADAR PER SERVICE MANUAL INSTRUCTIONS. FTS THEN PERFORMED STATIC AIMING OF THE MULTIPURPOSE CAMERA PER SERVICE MANUAL USING THE HDS. NO ISSUES FOUND AND THEN FTS PERFORMED DYNAMIC AIMING BY DRIVING THE VEHICLE TOWARDS THE CUSTOMERS HOME IN ORDER TO VERIFY NO ISSUES PRESENT. DYNAMIC AIMING COMPLETED WITHIN 5 MINUTES OF DRIVING. DURING FINAL TEST DRIVE SYSTEM WORKING AS DESIGNED WITH NO DTC'S OR ANY WARNING MESSAGES AS CUSTOMER STATED. FTS SPOKE WITH CUSTOMER AND STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WASNT IN A FAULTED STATE AND ISSUES MAY HAVE BEEN DUE TO IMPROPER LEARNING PROCEDURES. DEALER TECHS WERE UNAWARE OF STEERING ANGLE SENSOR INPUT (FTS ADVISED THEM TO DO RESET AFTER ALIGNMENTS AND BEFORE CAMERA AIMING).FTS ADVISED CUSTOMER TO PICK UP VEHICLE AND DRIVE IT UNDER NORMAL CONDITIONS AND LET DEALER SERVICE MANAGER IF ANY ISSUES REOCCUR. CUSTOMER UNDERSTOOD AND SAID HE WOULD RELAY ANY ISSUES TO THE MANAGER. FTS ADVISED CUSTOMER THAT THE POP DURING CARPLAY WAS UNDER REVIEW AND FTS WAS ABLE TO DUPLICATE CONCERN BY PAIRING HIS IPHONE AND USING HFL ONLY. NO SHUTDOWN REASONS WERE STORED PRIOR TO CONNECTING PHONE AND AFTER PAIRING. FTS PERFORMED FACTORY DATA RESET AND ADIVSED CUSTOMER THAT HE SHOULD NOT PAIR ANY PHONES VIA BLUETOOTH FOR A FEW DAYS OR WEEKS TO SEE IF ISSUE IS REDUCED DURING CARPLAY. CUSTOMER AGREED AND WILL MONITOR SITUATION GOING FORWARD FOR PHONE AND NON PHONE RELATED SPEAKER POPPING. HE WILL NOTIFY MANAGER IF POPPING REOCCURS DURING NON PHONE RELATED USE.MILEAGE OUT 16985 |
